Kinesiology, of any branch, philosophy or brand, is a COMPLEMENTARY care modality (CAM). It is not designed to be used for a primary care, or a stand alone "treatment" or care for any significant problem or issue that would normally be diagnosed or treated by a licensed Medical or Psychology practitioner.
ICPKP Kinesiologists are trained not to work on any named disease or illness, instead they work on improving functional outcomes of situations around the condition. For example they do not work with parasthesia or arthralgia instead work on a goal of "I easily and comfortable open a jelly jar")
It is ideally used as used as a COMPLEMENTARY care for for any serious physical or psychological condition currently under the Provider. Where possible kinesiology care should be done in consultation with or at least full awareness of the Licensed Provider. It is clients responsibility to inform all providers of any and all care they are receiving from any and all other providers/modalities to ensure their safety.
