Goal Setting as a Process of Growth and Healing

A short live interactive course, either on-line or in-person, on how to use your conscious mind as a primary path of internal communications to your Mind, Body & Spirit.  Once you can intentionally proactively craft and construct  these communications then you have the ability to start to focus in and release "stuff" and likewise upgrade the good stuff to make your life a whole lot better!

What you will experience in this course -

 

When your done with the first session you will have already learned a simple but powerful version of goal setting that will give expanded awareness and self-control for your self or your client (self/client).

 

Then we go into how to actively "Set Your Intention" with a well formulated goal. Once that is done you will learn how to combine the two separate stand alone techniques into a unified approach to help you perceive and improve your previously subliminal communications. Then you have access from your Conscious Mind and Body to access and reprogram your Sub and Super Conscious Minds.

Personalized Learning

Please come prepared with at least 4 or 5 simple to "mediocre" topics you may want to work on for your private exercises during the webinar. You will not be sharing these but will use them to anchor in the learning process.

 

(This is optional but hey, why not deepen the learning and get some personal stuff moving and grooving while your at it!!!)

  • Mediocre, i.e.not big ticket or difficult items.  "B" or better yet "C" priority goals work best for live exercises. Keep them more superficial so you can play with it easier and grasp concepts quicker.

  • Big Ticket Goal - Save this for your after class emails and practice sessions so you can do a good deep dive on it!

Topic 1 - Dream? Goal? Plan?

What is the difference between a dream and a goal?

What is the difference between a goal and a plan?

What is the difference between a "words on paper" hollow goal and and an actionable goal?

When do you use which one and how?!?

This session teaches the fundamentals of what a goal is and isn't, how they impact your brain and body, and how to craft a goal that not only helps clarify the desired outcome but motivates one to achieve it!

We offer applications and guidelines for various formats of goals (SMART vs. DUMB, etc.)

Remember - A LOT of this is active learning with participatory private self-exercises and live demos (not "words on paper") so bring a few simple "items for improvement" with you to work on.

Topic 2 - Basic Goal Setting for Health and Growth

Why "I want an ice cream cone" doesn't work well at Baskins-Robbins.

It's kinda hard to get the flavor of ice cream you want, and in fact you may get something you really don't like if you don't put some guidelines on the request.  Likewise you can't book a flight if you don't know the destination.  So why do we blindly amble through out life without a travel plan?

This session will teach you the framework for setting a real goal that has teeth and will improve your life.  The goal setting process is the foundation upon which planned change is made and by itself is often all a person needs to find and fix their own "stuff".

Topic 3 - Using the Process to Explore the Issues

This session we learn how to integrate and tweak the skills from week 1 and 2 to actually move your self/client in an expedient manner to the desired endpoint.

We will explore how the goal setting process can often backdoor you directly into the root cause of the problem to further explore and expand the process. This process is unassuming, low key and can be very beneficial to the client about finding blocks, barriers as well as motivators and unknown strengths to help achieve success.

  • Independent Learning: Suggested practice time to play with skills before next session. 

  • Optional email support

Topic 4 - Interactive Practice & Polish

This session we put it all together and play with it with real time examples.

  • Independent Learning: Suggested practice time to play with skills before next session. 

  • Optional email support

  • Those who successfully complete this course may repeat it in the future at reduce tuition.

Post Course - 3 additional Months of optional Practice Sessions

Those who successfully complete the above course (attend all sessions and complete all Independent Learning exercises) qualify for attendance at monthly practice sessions.at no additional cost. These are live on-line open format sessions starting with a brief Q&A session,  followed by a faculty lead focused group session and then some real-time curated sessions, allowing you to keep your skills polished up and fluent. No additional pre or post session time requirements, or activities, to attend.  Sign up & show up that's it!
